Waste heat resources are widely available, especially in the production processes of industries such as building materials, metallurgy, chemical engineering, papermaking, and textiles, where abundant waste heat resources exist. Among them, waste heat resources in the building materials industry account for more than 40% of fuel consumption, waste heat resources in the metallurgical industry account for more than 33% of fuel consumption, and waste heat resources in the chemical, paper, textile and other industries account for about 15% of fuel consumption.
However, the waste heat, pressure, and other energy from these industries have not been fully utilized, resulting in serious energy waste and environmental pollution. The recovery rate of industrial waste heat resources in China is only 33.5%, which means that 2/3 of the waste heat resources have not been utilized. Therefore, there is enormous potential for the recovery and utilization of waste heat resources in China’s industrial sector.
Project application: Waste heat utilization ignites the “green engine”
A large chemical industry client is located in the Pingdingshan Nylon New Materials Industry Cluster Zone and is fully funded by Shenma Shares to construct a 200000 ton (50000 ton) annual production (Phase I) adiponitrile project. The project adopts the internationally advanced technology of direct hydrogenation of butadiene to adiponitrile.
After the project is put into operation, it marks the completion of the key link of independent production of adiponitrile in the nylon industry chain, which will break the constraints of foreign countries on the upstream key raw materials of China’s nylon 66 industry. In addition, the project will form a circular low-carbon environmental protection industry chain with surrounding upstream and downstream enterprises, promote the development of local industrial clusters, and help enterprises achieve their goals of energy conservation, emission reduction, and consumption reduction.
Precise efforts: addressing industry and user pain points
The “Q184/980-80-2.7 Waste Heat Boiler” product put into operation in the project is a large-scale chemical waste heat boiler independently developed and manufactured by Huatai Co., Ltd. It is a special equipment used to recover heat from a large amount of high-temperature flue gas generated by industrial systems. This type of boiler has the characteristics of compact structure, large water capacity, stable overall performance, simple operation, safety and reliability, and easy maintenance.
Since its commissioning, the boiler has operated stably with significant energy-saving effects, playing an important role in the comprehensive recovery and utilization of waste heat energy in the chemical industry, demonstrating Huatai Group’s research and manufacturing strength in the field of waste heat recovery.
Vertical layout
The boiler adopts a single drum horizontal and vertical arrangement, with an overall inverted U-shape.
SCR denitrification technology
Adopting SCR denitrification technology inside the furnace. The tail heating surface adopts a modular structure to reduce on-site installation work and installation cycle.
Combination incineration process
The layout structure adopts a combination of suspended membrane wall and lightweight protective plate furnace wall, which is perfectly integrated with the front incineration process.
Professional Services: Assisting Customers in Worry Free Use
In addition to its advantages in boiler performance, Huatai Group’s refined services have also won recognition from customers. Through professional training provided by Huatai Corporation, we ensure that our customers’ furnace operators master the scientific methods of using waste heat boilers, including internal structure, operation, and maintenance, thereby extending the service life of the boilers. In addition, Huatai Corporation also provides online maintenance consultation for chemical enterprise customers, ensuring that customers have no worries during the operation and use of boilers.
