 Introduction

The SZL series assembled chain grate boilers are mainly composed of the upper and lower boiler drums, convective tube bundles, water wall tubes, downcomer tubes and header boxes. The upper and lower boiler drums are arranged in a longitudinal manner. The combustion equipment adopts a chain belt type chain grate, which is driven by a stepless speed change device.

The boiler body is composed of the longitudinally arranged upper and lower boiler drums and convective tube bundles. Inside the upper boiler drum, steam-water separation and continuous blowdown devices are installed; while inside the lower boiler drum, a periodic blowdown device is installed to ensure the quality of steam.

A continuous automatic water supply device is equipped to ensure the safe operation of the boiler, and an economizer is arranged at the tail of the boiler.

 Advantages

1.The two sides of the furnace and burnout chamber adopt a membrane water wall structure.

2.The front and rear water wall tubes of the furnace extend downward to the upper part of the grate to form the front and rear arches. This structure is added based on the original mature packaged boiler design, increasing the furnace radiation heating surface without changing other heating areas, thus enhancing overload capacity. The front and rear arches are constructed with water wall tubes as the skeleton and cast with high-alumina cement, eliminating the defects of the original boiler’s three-fold arch bricks—such as cracking and collapse due to long-term high-temperature exposure—and prolonging the arch’s service life.

3.The furnace arch design employs inverted "α" arch technology: the front arch is high and short, while the rear arch is low and long. This increases the burnout time of flue gas in the furnace, improving combustion efficiency. The streamlined rear arch throws unburned carbon particles blown up from the middle and rear of the grate to the front, facilitating ignition and ensuring a uniform ignition line, with wide adaptability to different coal types.

4.The length of the front and rear grate axes is extended compared to domestic models of the same type, prolonging the fuel combustion time in the furnace for more complete coal combustion, reducing the carbon content in the slag, increasing the effective grate area, and significantly enhancing the boiler’s overload capacity.

5.Air is supplied from both sides, with six independent air chambers arranged longitudinally along the grate. Each chamber is equipped with an independent air adjustment device to regulate the air volume separately, achieving optimal adjustment and combustion effects.
